Spewing Hot Air, Al Gore Adds to Global Warming
Dateline USA....Former Vice President Al Gore, who parlayed a slide show into a Nobel Peace Prize and an Academy Award, appeared on NBC TV's Meet the Press program today and made clear that he cares more about promoting the manmade global warming hoax than helping the United States to attain energy independence and revitalize the US economy.
Gore had a few interesting things to say about advances in solar, wind and geothermal energy. But he offered no solution for liquid transportation fuel apart from electric cars.
Gore is fanatically anti-oil and gas and anti-coal. (He is also anti-shale and anti-nuclear power.) He wants his fellow Americans to get used to $4 or higher gasoline prices in order to shift to renewable energy.
Going on and on about the climate crisis, he conveniently confused the issue. While many serious scientists believe the earth has stopped warming and has actually started cooling, others say warming is occurring but that it is a natural process and not caused by human activity.
Asked about his new, electricity-hogging, 10,000-square-foot house, Gore replied that carbon was the problem and that he and his wife reduced their carbon footprint by "buying green energy."
