Russia Draws a Line in Syria

Another day, another American foreign policy failure.

Moscow makes it clear that it will not allow another Libya, vowing to veto any UN resolution on the worsening Syria crisis that does not specifically rule out armed intervention in the country. Click here for the news.

Obviously, Russia didn't get Obama's bilateral relations "reset" memo, or, more likely, the Kremlin read and deleted the document or sent it straight to junk mail. Seriously, it's inexcusable that relations between the United States and Russia (Europe is practically irrelevant in this regard) are this bad more than two decades after the end of the Cold War and the collapse of the Soviet Union.
