Sierra Leone Launches Anti-Malaria Program

Free diagnosis, treatment and drugs--in Sierra Leone, the government of President Ernest Bai Koroma is aggressively tackling malaria with support from the international community. The disease accounts for 40% of the out-patient reported cases and is the cause of death for 35% of the total number of deaths of children under the age of five in the West African nation that is on the rebound.
