Comment: Iran had to be prevented from establishing missile and military bases in Syria, its secular but steadily Islamizing, Arab ally. But the Western-instigated Islamist uprising against the Syrian regime--under cover of another "Arab Spring" rebellion and so-called democracy promotion in "the Muslim world"--is insane. Apparently, Washington has learned nothing from decades of failed attempts to ride the Islamist tiger without being eaten by it that culminated in the monstrous mega-attacks on the U.S. homeland. And U.S. voters, dazed and confused and beaten down by an awful and arguably worsening economy, are conveniently distracted and totally unaware of what is being done abroad--the crazy risks that are being undertaken--under freedom's banner.
