Hezbollah Fighters Pour into Syria

Ordinary Syrians are effectively being asked to choose the fascism they prefer to live under: Sunni clerical fascism (Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood, backed by the United States, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States) or Shiite clerical fascism, meaning, of course, Iran and its terrorist proxy, Hezbollah.

The despotic regime is Iran's secular ally and an ally, also, of Russia, which wants to preserve its naval facility at the Syrian port of Tartus and arms sales to the Syrian military. Moscow also wants to stem the Islamist tide. The Russian capital is driving distance from the Syrian border.
