Meteor or Small Asteroid Struck Russia

Urals Incident Warning of What Could Happen

NASA initially downplayed the event. It was a very big deal, after all.

The meteor, or small asteroid, that struck the Urals had the force of 30 Hirsohima-sized atomic bombs.

It was the largest celestial body to have collided with the Earth over the past 100 years.

Russian experts are calling for an anti-meteor/anti-asteroid defense system.
