UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Vows Five More Years of Austerity

Nightmare Continues; No Light at the End of the Tunnel for Workers


Britain's equivalent of a finance minister or treasury secretary has pledged to stay the austerity course in spite of a looming triple-dip recession--five more years of savage spending cuts, pain and misery.

Austerity has failed miserably, made a bad situation much worse. UK unemployment is officially 7.8%. Youth unemployment is over 21%.
