Atrocities Cause Some Rebel Supporters to Reconsider Stance
|WAR CRIME: US-backed, AQ-linked "rebels" execute Syrian POWs after torturing them.|
The savagery and brutality of the Al Qaeda-linked terrorists the West insists on calling "rebels"--car bombers, cannibals and kidnappers--is shocking even to some rank and file rebels and their supporters in the elite media who have lined up to on the side of military intervention in Syria's civil war.
FACT: Twelve years after 9/11, the United States is indirectly arming Al Qaeda; and the U.S. is the world's leading supporter of rightwing political Islam (Islamism) and Islamic extremism and fundamentalism, as shown by the unnecessary intervention in Libya that brought Islamists to power, the backing of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood and betrayal and abandonment of the country's pro-American president Hosni Mubarak, the alliance with Turkey's Islamist regime, and the stirring up of Syria's Islamist insurrection--a rebellion that menaces and needlessly poisons relations with post-Communist Russia.
Incredibly, the U.S. Congress is being asked to approve aerial attacks on the Syrian regime that could topple it and bring to power even worst enemies of the U.S. and its allies--Al Qaeda and its affiliates, supporters and sympathizers.
And all of this has been and is being done under the banners of democracy and humanitarianism.
So it goes in the days leading up to September 11, 2013. It will be most ironic if this turns out to be the date on which the missiles that threaten to hand Al Qaeda another victory are launched by the group's number one enemy.
UPDATE: The U.S. Senate is likely to vote on aiding Al Qaeda-linked Syrian rebels on … Sept. 11. Click here for the story.
