Obama Administration Divided on Syria Policy

What the West has wrought in Syria: another Afghanistan.

With Al Qaeda ascendant in Syria, the Obama administration is divided on what to do next. Should the United States support Saudi-sponsored salafists seeking to impose sharia law on still secular Syria, or quietly deal with the Assad regime?

Those are the choices reportedly being debated among administration officials, incredibly, who are waking up to the nightmare they helped to cause in Syria under cover of support for "the Arab Spring," democracy, human rights, etc.
